Projects for class

I am really enjoying this class so far. I am almost done with my curriculum project, and it is awesome seeing it all come together. I have previously taught the unit I am currently creating for this class, so I cannot do all the fun activities with my class this year. I am eager to teach it next year though! Part of me wants to make two units, so I can do one with my current class. I think my student's would benefit from the integration of technology.

Sites that Interested Me

As I browsed through the sites we were assigned to look at, I really liked the i-SAFE site. One thing that caught my eye at i-SAFE is that students can become "i-MENTORS" and teach other students about the dangers online. This sounds like something my students would really enjoy. Since one of the indicators of the multiple literacies state reading standard is that students practice safe and ethical behaviors when communicating and interacting with others, I think this would be a great site to look into more.
