Sites that Interested Me
As I browsed through the sites we were assigned to look at, I really liked the i-SAFE site. One thing that caught my eye at i-SAFE is that students can become "i-MENTORS" and teach other students about the dangers online. This sounds like something my students would really enjoy. Since one of the indicators of the multiple literacies state reading standard is that students practice safe and ethical behaviors when communicating and interacting with others, I think this would be a great site to look into more.

Hi Ashlee,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed checking our your favorite links- especially your school. It looks like you already use some web applications for assignments, etc.
I really like the layout and colors for your blog-very visually appealing.

Hi Ashlee,
ReplyDeleteI also teach for OPS and really appreciate the site that you shared for the multiple literacies standard. Many of us were a bit confused about how to teach and to assess this standard and this site gives me another tool to use.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi again Ashlee,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to add another comment because my first comment posted from a previous blog I made long ago. I wanted to be sure to post this comment from my blog for Educ 553 so that you would be sure who it came from.
Hopefully, this will work this time. :)

Ashlee-
ReplyDeleteYour unit looks great. I know you have a lot on your plate as a first year teacher. I know I would not have wanted to tackle taking a class my first year. Great job!!!
